Day 7

Rediscovering Your Dreams

Abuse doesn’t just break your heart—it dims your ability to see beyond the pain and shame. Somewhere along the way, your dreams may have gone silent. You stopped imagining a different future because you were exhausted from simply surviving.

You weren’t lazy. You weren’t unmotivated. You were surviving—and dreaming doesn’t feel safe when your energy is spent on staying alive.

But now, something is stirring. A shift. A flicker of hope. Because healing makes room for hope. Hope awakens vision. And vision breathes life into your dreams.

Today’s Reflective Practice:

1. Pause for a few quiet moments. Let your heart speak. Ask yourself: What would I love to do if fear or failure weren’t in the way?

2. Write down one small dream. It doesn’t have to be big or even realistic yet. Just something that lights you up.

Examples: “I want to dance again.” “I’d love to write a book.” “I want to wake up feeling peaceful.”

3. Whisper this truth to yourself:

“My dreams still matter. And I’m allowed to want more.”

Your dreams were never lost—they were just waiting for you to return to them. You don’t have to chase them all at once. You just have to believe they’re still possible.

This is not just healing. This is remembering who you were before the silence—and who you’re still becoming.

Tomorrow, we’ll explore how to redefine success on your own terms—because your worth is not measured by anyone else’s expectations.
